Luang Phor Ee, Wat Sataheep's, Chonburi - Phakhawan Maha Ud

Featuring my little collection of Luang Phor Ee's 4 pair hands Phakhawan Maha Ud. This Phakhawan Maha Ud was made around BE 2490 - 2497. Luang Phor Eee's phakhawan was made of  Mekapat - from Leklai family.

Not many people know about this old batch phakhawan.  In Kelantan this phakhawan was distributed to the devotees by Wat Uttamaram - Phor Than Kong .  According to my grandpa, Luang Phor Ee had  invited our Phor Than Kong to join the plugsaeg ceremony of this powerful phakhawan in Chonburi. After the plugsaeg ceremony, Luang Phor Eee distributed the phakhawan to Phor Than Kong as a token of appreciation, to be brought back and  distributed to the devotees in  Malaysia - Kelantanese devotees.

According to my grandpa. Upon arriving in Kelantan, the phakhawan was kept in the Ubosot and was reblessed by our Phor Than Kong or a period of time before distributed to the devotees. The phakhawan was reblessed according to the Wat Uttamaram Pidta's Secret.

My grandpa added that, this Luang Phor Ee Phakhawan was given away as a substitution to his pidta phakhawan. As usual, before giving away his phakhawan, Phor Than Kong will foreseen and  forecast about the compatibility - KESERASIAN of the devotees and his phakhawan.  That's why not all devotees / look jom / disciple were given his phakhawan. My grandpa said that, Phor Than Kong a kinda SELECTIVE and SENSITIVE before given away his phakhawan. Because of this,  Phor Than Kong will just give away Luang Phor Ee's Phakhawan instead of his phakhawan.

Thai Amulets magazine's articles on Luang Phor Gert & Luang Phor Ee's Phakhawan

There are 4 great stories about this Luang Phor Ee's Phakhawan. Three of the stories were retold to me by Phor Mor Keaw nd Phor Mor Chau Narn. The 4th story was based on my own experienced.

1st story......

There is a devotee who approaches Phor Than Kong and asking for  a favour to help him in order to solve his court case - hit and run cases. Phor Than Kong advises this devotee to look out  for the Luang Phor Ee Phakhawan to be worn during the trial. Phor Than Kong advises this devotee to mum the phakhawan - put it secretly under the tongue or insert at the right cheek wall. Phor Than Kong asks this devotee to practice on how to talk fluently while mumming the phakhawan.

He went for the hearing and the opponent was unable to speak upon him. The lawyer also staggered and halted while reading out the case. The court was adjourned for several times because the opponent was unable to bring out the prima facie and the witness was  absent for the rest of the hearing. Then the case was solved / closed.

2nd story......

The story is about a Chinese Deity medium of Guang Ti / Gong. This medium in his late 40s was arrogant and did not believe in Siam Amulet / Votive Tablet. He always look down upon votive tablet. He said his Guang Ti / Guang Gong was above all Siam amulets power.

This medium got his lesson when one of his friend purposely placed  / inserted the Luang Phor Ee 's Phakhawan inside his pants belt before inviting Guang Ti to enter his body. The ritual was made and done as usual but Guang Ti was failed to posses - failed to get into trance. After waiting for half and hour, the medium went for a plead bow by kneeling in front of Guang Ti altar . Still this does not work. The medium was about to seek apologies to the devotees when his friend smiled and asked him whether he is wearing any other amulets / tangkal.

The medium checked his pants and released his belt, the inserted phakhawan dropped onto the floor and in his disbelieved Guang Ti started to posses and he was successfully came into trance. His friend told / explained the incident to this medium and shed the lite of what had  actually happened. After the incident, this medium set his  small Buddha / Siam Amulets altar in the next room of this main Guang Ti altar. He would pray and ask for permission from the Buddha and Phor Than Kong statues before conducting any rituals !

3rd story.......

The 3rd story is about Tiong Chai. A typical Kelantanese Chinese. He LOVES to fight, creates chaos and bullies the weaker people.

Tiong Chai is wearing / hanging the Luang Phor Ee's Phakhawan. That's why he is always in bad temper, couldn't control his behaviour and always in a GOOD MOOD while fighting...... ha ha ha ! God's will. This small young guy got into trance / possesses by this Phakhawan's spirit and fight like a real fighter - crazy bull !

This young guy acted like a professional boxer and keep on punching, and  kicking  his opponents - 2 verses 1. Kampung folks try to calm him down but failed.  After a few attempts, Tiong Chai finally cool down and it takes 5 adults to keep Tiong Chai calms.

4th story.......

This is the story based on my real experienced in consecrating Luang Phor Ee's phakhawan and testing the phakhawan by using fire arm. Friend of mine, Ah Gu ( deceased ) from Kota Bharu is an amulets collector. He has 2 Malay friends who also get crazy in Thai amulets. These 2 Malay guys worked at Pudu Jail. One of this guys is a Pudu Jail warden and the other one is the HANGING MAN. His works is mainly to carry out the duty to hang the convict.

These 2 Malay guys, asked Ah Gu the amulets that can defeat gun. Ah Gu had introduced this Luang Phor Ee's Phakhawan to him.  We went off to the open area ( somewhere in Kota Bharu - still active as a testing area. Ha ha.... ) to test the amulet. This Malay guy used the pump gun as their testing tool. They tied the phakhawan onto a chicken neck and let the chicken ran freely.  The Malay guy, pulled the trigger but the pump gun  failed and halted. The guy pointed the gun to the sky and 'bang, bang' the pump was in a good condition.

For another attempt, i saw these 2 guys changed the bullets and tried it for several times but again the pump gun was unsuccessfully to be triggered. They took back the chicken, collected the phakhawan released the chicken and tied the phakhawan onto a tree trunk, they tried for several times, the pump gun still did not functioning. The guy pointed the gun to the other tree trunks and the gun was successfully to be triggered.

The stories are just for sharing purposes, DO NOT TRY IT AT HOME ! Although you are now hanging the Luang Phor Ee's Phakhawan.

Luang Phor Ee's Phakhawan is FIERCE and will make you  LOOSE  your temper easily. Do not wear it if you are a hot temper person.  Ha ha ha .........

Merely Sharing.

Phor Than Kong Famous BE 2505 Taolit ...... part 2

-->

The features amulet is another collection of mine, the Phor Than Kong Taolit BE 2505 by our late Chau Khun Chan. This taolit was made by Chau Khun Chan. They’re 2 batches of this taolit. One with clef lip and one was without the clef lip. There’s a romours about this taolit.  According to the secondary sources, the BE 2505 taolit with clef lip was the 1st batch or the earlier batch. The one with clef lip was the 2nd batch or later batch.
BUT….according to Chau Khun Chan, ther’re no such first and second batch of this BE2505 Taolit. Chau Khun Chan stressed and added that, he jus made those taolit once, no redo / reproduced batch of this taolit. BE 2505 taolit with or without clef lip were produced / made at the same time and using the same block. The clef lip just happened / occurred by chance. This is because BE 2505 taolit were produced in huge quantity and the BE 2505 Taolit block / mould was cracked around the upper lip of Phor Than Kong’s image. That’s why the clef lip of BE 2505 were produced. The clef lip taolit was later discovered by the committee after the final / finishing process of this taolit. It’s was happened by accidents and without any intention of creating such of marking line / mark as claimed by some irresponsible sources.
This Phor Than Kong BE 2505 Taolit by Chau Khun Chan was popular among Phor Than Kong amulet die hard. It’s a sought after amulets, as a substitution of the famous BE 2505 taolit by Phor Than Kong himself. Yet, the renting price ( in Kelantan ) for this taolit is reasonable and still below RM 1K and if you are lucky enough, you can get this taolit ( without clef for just around RM 400 and the one with clef lip for just RM 600 ). BUT…….. beware of the fake / imitate BE 2505 Phor Than Kong Taolit

Below are some of the BE 2505 Phor Than Kong new taolit made in BE 2540 – 2542 by late Chau Khun Mit. At your first glance you may be cheated  as the genuine BE 2505 Phor Than Kong taolit. If you observe carefully ( especially the material used ), the brass / copper used was the RED brass / copper not the YELLOW brass / copper used in genuine BE 2505 taolit.

Some times it’s hard to determine and differentiate the old genuine taolit from the redo / reprinted batch. As for me, ( the naïve and inexperienced in this amulets world ), the crucial marking technique to determine the genuine BE 2505 Taolit is by observing the upper lip of the Phor Than Kong image. The redo batch of taolit printed with the clef upper lip while the genuine BE 2505 taolit  by Phor Than Kong was no clef lip.

Below is the original batch ( before retouched and dipped in chemical substance ) Phor Than Kong BE 2505 Taolit, new made taolit ( BE 2540 –2542 by Chau Khun Mit )

Phor Than Kong BE 2505 Taolit, new made taolit ( BE 2540 – 42 by Chau Khun Mit ). After the retouched and special dipped / soaked in chemical substances and been casing by using the conventional method  to make it looks older as the genuine Phor Than Kong BE 2505 Taolit.

FYI, those taolit were still the genuine taolit from Wat Uttamaram. The taolit were dipped, soaked and worned just to make it worn out and older. This new made taolit also been framed / cased using the old / conventional style of casing method. Just to make it more convincing and to persuade the novice collectors to fall into their prey.

Sample of conventional Phor Than Kong BE 2505 Taolit casing box/ copper casing lid

Those copper lid and steel box were originally secured from these Phor Than Kong BE2505 Taolit

Phor Than Kong Famous BE 2505 Taolit........part 1

Featuring my personal collection of the famous Be 2505 Taolit of Phor Than Kong.  These taolit were made and blessed by Phor Than Kong ( Tok Raja ) himself.  These Phor Than Kong's taolit were then distributed by late Chau Khun Chan during Phor Than Kong cremations day. According to my grandpa, Thamboon         ( renting price ) for the BE 2505 Taolit was just RM 5 per piece.

During the cremation ceremony, this Phor Than Kong's  BE 2505 Taolit were put inside the baht ( armbowl ) with a donation box beside the baht. At those time my grandpa said he had just RM 10 in his pocket and he had only rented those 2 pieces ( as attached photos ).

The first feature taolit face, legs and hand were worn out due to the traditional way of casing ( wrapped it in a yellow or red clothe ) and this taolit originally wore by grandpa himself. He said that, he will wear this taolit when he wanna Tham Withi ( bomoh tingy ) or travel for a long distance. The second feature taolit was still in 90 % perfect, but still a bit worn out here and there because of open casing.

Some amulet expert said that......WORN OUT a bit, here and there were ONE  of  the crucial aspects that indicate the originality of the amulets. If the amulets were released / made some 50 years ago but still in 100 % perfect condition then you need to be worried ! Altho there's a case of 100 % perfection but it's very very rare indeed. Before making any purchasing / renting / exchanging, you should ask in depth and consult the expert to verify.

Below is the redo batch of the famous Taolit of Phor Than Kong by Chau Khun Mit. This batch of taolit can be used as a substitution to the highly sought after of Phor Than Kong BE 2505 ( as above ). FYI, all Wat Uttamaram amulets has gone thru a rigid and complicated processes and ceremony of making and of course has been blessed accordingly to the Phor Than Kong's secret and katha.

Some novice collectors were cheated and rented this new batch of  taolit as  the old BE 2505 Taolit. Some irresponsible amulet sellers / collectors simply dipped this new batch taolit into special blended chemical and even hand scratch the taolit just to make it worn out and look older.

How to differentiate the original BE 2505 taolit and the imitate one ? As for me ( novice and inexperienced in this amulets world ), the simplest way to differentiaite  the original BE 2505 Taolit is..... in creating BE 2505 Taolit, Phor Than Kong used the selected YELLOW BRASS, while the redo batch taolit was made of RED BRASS. Used the sharp object and scratch any part of your taolit ( normally the base / bottom ) and you will see the result....whether in yellow or red brass / copper !

But now in this technology advanced, it's hard to determine the amulets via scratch and see. The amulets con men even smarter that we ever thought. Sometime it's beyond our thinking. they're willing to do and spend thousand perhaps to copy cat and produce the fake amulets.  In conclusion......to determine your BE 2505, kindly consult the expert please !

Nowadays, amulets from Wat Uttamaram ( especially Phra Pidta Phakhawan ) are highly sought after for it efficacious to ward off ill-fortune and to provide protection to the wearer, it been said that amulets from Wat Uttamaram also superb in auspicious luck fetching. This piece of Tok Raja Taolit redo batch from the Phor Than Kong's BE 2505 block / mould was rented from Wat Uttamaram in early B.E. 2544. The thamboon for the newly made taolit is RM 50 per piece.

Due it popularity, this older batch taolit made by Chau Khun Mit was out of stock. Recently, Wat Uttamaram abbot, Than boon had released a new batch of Tok Raja Taolit. The renting price ( thamboon ) for this new made BE 2552 Taolit is RM 89. This batch of taolit comes with a box ( first time ever ! )

In a nutshell, it doesn't matter if you are just able to own this new batch of BE 2505 Phor Than Kong's Taolit. It's still a superb taolit. The good and efficacious amulets doesn't depend on its prices, year of making, and its rareness. As my grandpa said......it's all depend on your faith and believe ! Even the RM 10 one, if you get it from wat, thamboon it with your heart, believe and have faith in Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha, the CHEAP amulet that you have rented are much better than the propaganda, expensive, fake and immitate famous amulet !

" Phar Yant Khan Barn "

Featuring the "Phar Yant Khan Barn" ( Yant from from the robes to protect the owner's resident / house ). These yants were made by Phor Than Daeng, the late abbot of Wat Phikulthong, Terbak, Tumpat. Kelantan. These yants were made in early 80's. I'm lucky enough to inherited these superb phar yant from my mum, as my beloved mum was quite closed to Phor Than Daeng, my mum said, Than Daeng gave her these phar yant personally.

These yants were a superb tool to be used to protect the owner house / premise. This yant can be hung on the top of the main door and back door frames. According to Phor Than Daeng, For the better result and effect, this yant should be hung at 4 corners / directions of the house. He said, when this phar yant were hung. Its will protect our house from fire and break in. He added that,

"whenever you wanna to move out from your house, the first thing that you have to remove and bring together to your new house is this phar yant "

The faded temple stamp code on each phar yant.
