These 2-sacred bucha were blessed by late Than Chan @ Chau Khun Chan of Wat Batu 3 Repek, Bangsek in BE 2533/1990. These 2-bucha went through the same Phutaphisek ceremony by late Than Chan & Than Mit in Wat Uttamaram.
The 5-Inch lap bucha was the last creation from late Chau Khun Chan. The special aspect of this bucha are, it was made in limited numbers and ONLY few of it were inserted with sacred takrut in the beneath - both rolled and unrolled takruts.
According to the reliable sources from kampung folks that involved directly in this bucha making process, NOT ALL buchas were inserted with the takruts - both rolled and unrolled. Only few of it were stuck in the beneath ( can be seen clearly ) and not inserted ( covered ). This bucha was given / rented out ONLY for close devotees.
1st version @ same phim.
As far as i concerned ( do correct me if i'm wrong ), there are 3 versions of this 2533 phim @ bucha. The 1st @ roon rek of this 2533 is the one with takrut inserted. As i mentioned earlier, this batch of 2533 was made not more than 100 statues, with unrolled takruts inserted, and was fully blessed by late Than Chan for local Kelantanese devotees.

2nd version @ same phim.
The 2nd version is the one with and without takrut inserted - neither the rolled or unrolled takruts. I was told that, this version of 2533 was made around 300 statues and were then divided half for Wat Batu 3, Bangsek and Wat Nikhom, Weng. This 2nd version of 2533 was claimed by Than Jerd from Wat Uttamaram after Than Chan moranak. There was minor tussled between Wat Uttamaram committees and Than Jerd's representative regarding the claimed. The problem solved when Than Jerd and his representative were able to show the black and white @ proof ( receipts ) of agreement between late Than Chan and Than Jerd regarding the making and dividing numbers of this BE2533's bucha - 150 statues for Wat Nikhom, Weng and 150 statues for Wat Uttamaram.
Fully hand incribbed by Phor Kae.
The feature 2533 above is the 2nd version of the same batch bucha ( no takrut was inserted ). This bucha was specially REBLESSED and COVERED
with THIAN CAI - candle wax from the Khao Phangsa's candle from Wat Pokok Sagu @
Wat Kok Pho by late Phor Mor Kaew during his retreat season in BE 2538 @
1996.
1st and 2nd version of 2533.
The
3rd version of this 2533 was purely made and blessed by Than Jerd, Wat
Nikhom, Weng. This version of 2533 was later redo @ remake by Than Jerd
for several times. ( Made in later years and not in BE 2533, only engraved as 2533 phim ). Bear in mind that this 2533 version by Than Jerd is
not blessed by late Than Chan of Wat Uttamaram.
As
far as i concerned, the very first batch of this redo batch of 2533 by Than Jerd is
the one without Yant Plate - photo on the left and the final batch of
this 2533 by Than Jerd is the one with Yant Plate - photo on the right.
All of the 2533's buchas ( including the 9-inch lap bucha ) by Than Jerd are BLANK - without white clay @ plaster cement. These blank buchas were later self-filled with plaster cement by devotess and 100% not by temple or committee. Bear in mind that this 2533 version by Than Jerd is neither blessed by late Than Chan nor Than Mit of Wat Uttamaram.
The feature photo above is the special 4-inch Mai Ngiu Dam Bucha - Buddha was crafted from Mai Ngiu Dam Far Pha - struck by lightening. This bucha
was hand crafted by Thai artisan and properly blessed by late Than
Chan. According to the first hand owner - get it directly from late Than Chan. This bucha was blessed & consecrated together with the BE 2533 buchas. It was said that only 4 to 5 pieces of this bucha
were made. This bucha was crafted according to the human size Buddha figurine / statue in the Phra Chayamuni - main hal.
left & right view
Phrasobkarn - the bucha
was once used to heal a young man who suffered spiritual illness that cannot be cured by modern doctor a.k.a medicine. He was suffered from his own family abandoned - inheritted TarYai ( saka ). When the bucha placed on his head, the young man was in trance by his TarYai - identified himself as TarYai Seur Panglima Tujuh and narrated the whole narrative of his origin to his descendants, including the do's and dont's. Miraclely, the young man was cured after that !

Below article was extracted from the essay entitled "Jampi Siam Lawan Jampi Melayu". The essay was written by Dr. Muhammed Yusoff Ismail, an expert in Buddhisme.

Vassa (from Pāli vasso, Sanskrit varṣaḥ, both "rain" - Burmese: waso, Khmer: or Lao: pʰán săː, sometimes wāt săː; Thai: pansa or phansaa; ), also called Rains Retreat, is the traditional retreat during the rainy season lasting for three lunar months from July to October.
During this time Buddhist monks remain in a single place, generally in their temples. In some monasteries, monks dedicate the Vassa to intensive meditation.
During Vassa, many Buddhist lay people reinvigorate their spiritual training and adopt more ascetic practices, such as giving up meat, alcohol, or smoking (Vassa is sometimes known as "Buddhist Lent", though at least one prominent Theravada monk has objected to this usage-.
And in countries such as Thailand, the laity will often take monastic vows for period of Vassa and return to lay life afterwards. Commonly, the number of years a monk has spent in monastic life is expressed by counting the number of Vassas he has observed.
The Vassa retreat has largely been given up by Mahayana Buddhists, as Mahayana Buddhism has typically flourished in regions without a rainy season, however for Mahayana schools such as Zen and Tibetan Buddhism other forms of retreat are common.
The observation of Vassa is said to originate with the Buddha himself. Gautama Buddha ordered his disciples to observe a pre-existing practice whereby holy men avoided travel for a three month period during the rainy season, in order to avoid damaging crops.
Vassa begins on the first day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month; the preceding day is Asalha Puja. The focus of celebration by the laity is the first day of Vassa (or Wan Kao Pansa - Lao: ວັນເຂົ້າພັນສາ wán pʰán săː) during which worshippers donate candles and other necessities to temples, in a ceremony which has reached its most extravagant form in the Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival.
Vassa is followed by two of the major festivals of the year among Theravada Buddhists, Wan Awk Pansa and Kathina.
The end of vassa is marked by joyous celebration. The following month, the Kathina ceremony is held, during which the laity gathers to make formal offerings of robe cloth and other requisites to the Sangha.
The feature amulet is Luang Pu Thuad Phim Yim ade by Achan Nong of Wat Sai Khao. The feature amulet is also widely known as Achan Nong Luang Pu Thuad M16 batch. This Achan Nong Luang Pu Thuad – M16 batch was made in BE 2534 ( 1991 )
Miracle of
Achan Nong Luang Pu Thuad – M16 batch. As documented and reported in Thais
major newspapers.
A lorry /
truck was travelling along the isolated area of Yala-Betong province in
Southern Thailand. In a daring robbery attempt, a gang of bandits stopped the
truck in the middle of the road and opened fire with their M16 rifles, hundred of stray bullets straying across the windscreen.
During the
attacked, the lorry / truck’s windscreen smashed into pieces and the bullets
penetrated the front seats and was damaged. The miracle thing
happen when the driver had miraculously survived and not a single M16 bullet successfully
penetrating his skin - flesh.
According
to the expert, under normal circumstances, anyone who had been seated in front
of the truck and hit with M16 will definitely 0.00% of survive chances. But the
miracle thing happened to the driver when he escaped unhurt and not a single
gunshot could penetrate his flesh.
During the interview, the driver
of the pick up revealed that during the incident, he was wearing Luang Pu Thuad Yim batch ( Smiling Luang Pu
Thuad), consecrated by Achan Nong of Wat Sai Khao ( B.E.2534 ). He believes that, Luang Pu Thuad Phim Yim just saved his life. Because of this
incident, This Luang Pu Thuad Yim amulets were later given a nicknamed as LUANG
PU THUAD M16 batch. Due to the M16 attacked incident, the Luang Pu Thuad Phim
Yim later became a highly sought after amulets. Demand for the amulets and the
price was sky rocketing.
Luang Pu
Thuad Yim ( M16 ) was made of a special mixture of many kinds of sacred wajn - herbs, plants,
leaves and sacred powder. This particular batch also known as the birthday
batch, it was consecrated in conjunction with Achan Nong’s 72nd birthday. (
printed at the reverse side of amulet ).
There was another version of this Luang Pu Thuad Phim Yim, which was made at the same year. ( without the printed / stamping of
72 code at the reverse side ).
According to the latest
Achan Nong Wat Sai Khao official manual, both Phims - with flat back and
the back with the Thai number 72 are consecrated in the same ceremony on
the same date of year BE 2534. ( Thanks, bro KienLai for the sharing )
Some people claimed and convince the naive novice
amulet collectors with this batch as the real M16 batch and spreading
the rumours about the actual M16 ( the exact Luang Pu Thuad Phim Yim wore by the victim of M16 attacked incident ) is actually without stamp print.
Example of Luang Pu Thuad Phim Yim, without stamping code at the reverse side.
As mentioned in Achan Nong's Amulets Manual and Luang Pu Thuad's Manual. The real Luang Pu Thuad Phim Yim - M16 batch ( wore by the victim of M16 attacked incident )was consecrated in conjunction with Achan Nong’s 72nd birthday. (
with printed Thai's 72 code / numbering at the reverse side of the amulet ).
