Sharing one of my favourite great Bangsek's Kreung Lang - "LOOK SAKOD @ SAWAT" by late Than Kong of Wat Uttamaram Batu 3 Repek, Bangsek. This LOOK SAKOD was hand crafted from KAYU NIBONG TUNGGAL PANAHAN PETIR - Mai Nibung Far Par Tai Rai. Bear in mind that not all Far Par's Wood suitable for creating Phra Kreung or Kreung Lang. Only skillfull masters are able to create this type of takrut. This is because, those Far Par's wood NEEDED to be neutralized ( TAWARKAN BISA ) before bringing it home or crafting as sacred objects otherwise it will cause / bring some -VE Effect to the wearer such as......

 

1.  Hot temper
2.  Family disharmony
3.  Bad luck
4.  Spark hatred around you
 

The Look Sakod & Sawat fully hand inscribed yants and was inserted with custom hand made black lead takrut. The lead takrut was handmade lead, according to the owner ( who was given this Look Sawat by late prominent white shirt achan - bomoh from Bangsek ), the takrut made of mixed old lead from the vintage musket ( senapang asak @ lantak @ istinggar ) lead ball ( bullets ). The mixed lead was smashed by hammer and made into takrut by using "Batu Giling" ( grinding stone ). I was told that, this Look Sakod was made according to Wat Khao Ork lineage secrets. 

According to Phor Kae Kaew, Look Sakod is superb tool for Khongkhraparn Cahtree ( invulnerability ) - Strong protection against sharp weapon, Khlewkhard ( evade danger and bad omen ), and PlengRit, Gambang Tone, and  JangNgang ( to confuse, invicible and dumbfound the enemy ). Phor Kae added that, for PlengRit, Gambang Tone and JangNgang the look sakot needed to be activated with the certain mon / khata while mumming its.

Feature photo on the right is the rare example of Look Sawat @ Sakod by late Phor Kae Kaew ( Phor Luang Kaew ). These Look Sawat - only 2 pieces were made by request few years before Phor Kae attained Parrinibanna in 1999. The Look Sawat @ Sakod was made of  "Buah Gorek" @ Nickernut @ Fevernut. (Guilandina Bonduc). The Look Sawat was inserted with inscribed yant paper - Kradat Wau ( Kite Paper ). According to late Phor Kae, Buah Gorek and its stem are used as sacred items to discard evil forces in those years. The thorn from the stem and shell are used to perfom black magic vicah - piercing the puppet @ bee wax idol to curse the opponent @ enemy. Phor Kae added that the Gorek tree and stem in its nature will naturally  ward away the cattle - because of the thorns i guess.

Phor Kae also claimed that, before making the wanj@herbs type lookom, late Than Kong only used this Buah Gorek as lookom to be mummed inside his mouth. It's not surprising because one of the 108 wahn @ wanj used by late Than Kong to make Pidta Phakhawan & Look Om is Phong Swat or grinded powder of this "Buah Gorek". Even the famous Phra Somdej Kaiser, Wat Arun Temple of Dawn @ Wat Arunratchawararam also revealed that one of the sacred materials used to make Somdej Kaiser is Phong Swat / grinded powder of "Buah Gorek" a.k.a Nickernut a.k.a Fevernut.

I used to see @ come across some of look sawads that made of Buah Gorek by Southern's monks. Below is the example of Look Sakod B.E. 2550 by LP Pong of Wat Jaerng, Pathalung. I'm not going to write or discuss in-depth on LP Pong's Look Sakod as i not really know him. As far as i concerned, LP Pong is another prominent and sacred southern monk that endows with superb supernatural power.

Another great story to be shared on Look Sawat is the Look Sawat @ Sakod by late LP Moon of Wat Bahn Jarn, Sisaket. Late LP Moon was ONE OF Than Kong great disciples - LookSik. Late LP Moon went Tudung @ Pilgrimage in many countries including Malaysia. LP Moon used to reside in Wat Uttamaram Bangsek and study vicah under Than Kong for a period of times. I had been told that, when LP Moon was in Wat Uttamaram Bangsek, Repek. Late LP Moon was resding in Achan Deng @ Than Kru Daeng's Kuti. Achan Deng @ Than Kru Daeng is another great looksik of Than Kong but not many Bangsek's Looksik and diehard fans knew about the great story of LP Moon and Achan Deng @ Than Kru Daeng. Late LP Moon reached Parinnibanna on March 11, 2003 ( B.E. 2546 ) at age of 109 years and 86 Phangsa ( 86 years of monkshood ).

For the record, besides Than Kong @ Luang Phor Khron, LP Moon also be recognised as the great looksik of ( just to mention some ); Phra Achan Seeda (Preceptor), LuangPu Mun Burisato, Nakon Nakhon, LuangPu Waen Sujjino of Wat Doi Mae Paeng, Chiangmai, Somdej Sangkharat Pae of Wat Suthat, Bangkok, LuangPu Nak of Wat Arun, Bangkok, Phra Achan Tim of Wat Changhai, Pattanee, Phor Than Klai Wajasik of Wat Suan Khan, Nakon Sithammarat, Phra Achan Singh of Wat Pa Sarawan, LuangPhor Jak of Wat Bangkabao, LuangPu Ngen of Wat Mak Plangluang (Guru of Luang Phor Derm Wat Nong Pho), LuangPhor Kuay  ofWat Kositaram, Chainat and many more.

LP Moon's look sakod was hand inscribed by his looksik in B.E. 2545 a year before leaving us for Parinnibanna. Some of LP Moon amulets collectors said it was LP Moon himself who inscribed these yants          ( Yant Hua Jai Nak Ork Taeg and Yant Thor Khao Ork or Yant Arahant ) long time before but the look sakod was released to public only in year 2545 - Do correct me if i'm wrong ! As for me, i do believe that is was inscribed by his looksik and not LP Moon himself but i do believe this look sakod was properly blessed by late LP Moon himself. Bear in mind that, the insribed yants on the "Buah Gorek" / Nickernut / Fevernut as shown in LP Moon's look sakod ARE NOT the same yants used by late Than Kong and Phor Kae !                                   

Below is the example of Look Sawat @ Look Sakod by late Achan Singern of Wat Donsala. The Look Sawat was made according to the ancient secret of Achan Thong Thaw of Wat Khao Ork. The Look Sawat by Achan Singern was made of PLANT SEED sealed with red candle wax. The seed is exactly as big as Buah Gorek. I'm not pretty sure about the type of seed and yant used by Achan Singern but it's a superb  Khongkhraparn Cahtree & Khlew Khard khreng lang. It's extremely  rare now and beware of the fake @ imitate item that flooded in the market. 

 

Back to the discussion......... friends of mine used to warn me not to reveal the Buah Gorek and Kayu Nibung's Look Sawat @ Sakod as they afraid of copycat version of it.

My answer to them are simple, you can copycat the Buah Gorek / Kayu Nibung  Look Sawat. You can produce as many as you want but you will never know what are the Yants used / inscribed and stuffed inside the look sakod  ( Buah Gorek especially ), you also will never know the real Mon / Khata to activate the Look Sawat. Similiar to tongkat a.k.a maikru, you can produce tongkat in mass numbers, in variety of shapes and designs, you can claim it as made by following the real Tok Raja's tongkat secrets and so on. As you wish, but the truth that cannot be denied is ........ the tongkat that has been produced in mass numbers are NONE OTHER THAN A PIECE OF DECORATIVE WOOD ! The same rules applied.................

Another example regarding the IMITATE STUFF to be shared. Few years back, friends of mine ( now no more, as he and his friends already blocked me on FB - i dun give a damn care actually ! ) MADE a special phim of amulet to be blessed by Chau Khun Onn of Wat Sungai Padi. This Phim Song-Nar ( Pidta and figurine of CK Onn ) was claimed as CK Onn creation as IT WAS BLESSED BY  CK Onn himself. FYI, the amulet was actually made by an amulet dealer - the laymen to be exact. This amulets were then brought to Sungai Padi to be blessed by CK Onn ( without going through a proper phutapisek in the main Chapel ). These amulets were then sold in the market as A POWERFUL & SPECIAL PHIM of CK Onn's creation. He even offered me a special running number piece with a special price too.

Thought to be pondered with..........if the amulet is very special, why then you yourself didn't hang it around your neck ? Very powerful right ? Yet you are hanging series of another monks, different batches of another temples amulet. Where is the powerful amuet that you have mentioned earlier ? Why not the one that you claimed as powerful ? If your amulet is really powerful enough, prove to me and other devotees then......... Hang it around your neck but sadly you don't, why ? Let me provide you a simple series of answers. The reasons are because ;

you yourself........................

- are not confident with your own creation, 

- know that it's only a souvenir or gift,

- know that it could not protect you at all, 

- know the materials used are not up to the par, 

- know that it's only a propaganda item.

- know that it's only a TOOL TO MAKE MONEY !

"Barang yang kamu sendiri buat pun kamu tak yakin nak pakai @ puja, tapi kamu nak jual kepada orang ramai dan katakan ia ialah barang yang baik. Cuba teliti sejarah tentang mana-mana individu yang pernah BUAT barang dan pi LETAK di wat @ ketik dengan menggunakan atau menjual nama para Tokca. Adakah mereka memakainya sebagai pemakaian harian ? Adakah kaum kerabatnya juga memakai atau menggunakannya ? Adakah mereka menyimpannya untuk anak cucu mereka kelak ?"  Jawapannya tidak lain tidak bukan..........TIDAK SAMA SEKALI  ! Barang Tokca lain juga yang dipakai, digantung dan dipuja kan ?. Sadis sungguh, sadis sebab kamu buat dan gunakan nama wat untuk dijual bukan untuk buat BOON dan serahkan kepada wat untuk orang ramai THAMBOON sebagaimana sepatutnya. 

Andai kata, kamu  buat dan keluarkan kos seterusnya kamu ambik balik kos yang kamu guna untuk buat takperlah juga. Ini tidak, kamu sapu bersih. Buat 1000 tinggal 20 biji untuk sami dan wat ! Bagi mengelakkan pandangan serong orang ramai, tak payahlah buat. Kalau betul nak buat, nak thamboon buat kebajikan, niat nak tolong wat@ketik. Keluarkan modal dan beri terus kepada wat, minta wat dan tokca yang buat dan uruskan semua. Kecuali kalau wat yang bagi kuasa untuk uruskan, uruskan saje  bukan ambil laba @ untung 100% atau 70% atau seumpamanya. 

Nak buat @ jana duit ? Boleh aje, kenapa tak boleh ? Selepas siap semua phutapisek, p ambik di wat, p borong dengan harga asal wat ( wat boleh guna duit tu untuk kebajikan dan kembangkan agama Buddha ) dan jual balik dengan harga yang engko orang hendak dan mampu dibayar oleh pembeli ( letak lah harga apapun, takde orang kisah, yang penting  pembeli dan penjual setuju ). Baru orang respect kaw2, Xmengata, Xmengutuk dan Xmenuduh macam2. Hangpa pun Xperlu gaduh2 and maki memaki dalam media massa  !  ".

****Pandangan Peribadi Semata-Mata, Yang Tidak Ada Kaitan Dengan Mana-Mana Individu atau Organisasi, Sama Ada Yang Masih Hidup ataupun Telah Mati !

Recently i saw a group of online amulet dealers said / claimed that....... actually there is no REAL & FAKE amulet in the market, as long as it was blessed by a super powerful monk @ achan. Even an IMITATE stuff from Hadyai under bridge market can be used @ hung @ puja - worshiped IF YOU BELIEVE IN IT. Hahaha, you just nailed me guys ! Can i order some Tok Raja's pidta and send it to you all for special praying before hanging around my neck ? No worries, i will order extra pieces for you all too. Rian Kao or Somdej Wat Rakang perhaps !

Really sad to listen to such naive and confusing claim. If you have FAITH & BELIEVE in such stuff, you should order more and load your shop with those imitate under bridge amulets market then. Before that, don't forget to bring it to the temple for a special blessing first okay ! "Tepuk Dada Tanya Selera".

Bear in mind that, this is my personal view on PROPAGANDA ITEMS that MADE BY LAYMEN FOR THE SAKE OF DOLLARS AND CENTS ! Not only restricted to CK Onn's stuff as i mentioned above but all, no hard feeling ya !

To conclude the discussion so far, it's a rare occasion nowadays to see / meet with guru monks / achan that are able to produce this rare and dying wichah / skill in making Look Sakod @ Sawat of using  "Buah Gorek" a.k.a Nickernut a.k.a Fevernut ( Guilandina Bonduc ). FYI and as i mentioned earlier, the insribed yants on the "Buah Gorek" / Nickernut / Fevernut as shown in LP Moon's look sakod ARE NOT the same yants used by late Than Kong and Phor Kae. That's why i don't mind sharing by writing and posting out this post ! As i said....... you will never know the real yants !
