Kala Mai Mi Tar @ NYOIR BUTO / KELAPA BUTA. This unpeeled coconut ( 100% without eyes ) was originally kept by Phor Kae Keaw. Phor Kae owned 2pcs of this nYOIR bUTA. One was given to his disciple from Tanjung Beliat / Belit and another 1 was safe kept by him before handed over to me and to be kept under the main bucha altar. One of the Nyoir Buta already peeled off and the shell was used to make kreung lang and amulets.
There are many P.O.V regarding this Kala MaiMi Tar. Some believed that this MaiMiTar ( eyeless ) shouldn't be kept in premises if you are running a business related activities as it will drive away your customers. Some would believe that this tempurung buta can be used to GUARD - PASUNG our house / properties from burglar @ thief. Some would believe that this coconut is superb tool for protection against voodoo @ black magic. Yet, some paranormal practitioners believe that this type of Kelapa @ Tempurung Buta ALAMI ( natural ) is a superb tools as;

Late Than Lek of Ariyakiri used to handcraft a limited number of Pidta Phakawan - 4 hands from this type of Nyior Buto. It's 100% hand crafted by Than Lek himself. So far i only came across 2-piece of this phakhawan. One was owned by a young freelance salesman ( Ar Aik ) - selling windscreen rain shield at public car park in Tanah Merah. I met him in early 2004. He hung this Kala Mai Mi Tar's Phakhawan. He said, the phakhawan was crafted by Than Lek for his grandparent. His grandpa was a Phor Mor in Dabong, Kuala Krai. Kelantan. I offered him RM350 ( RM350 in year 2004 can be considered as handsome price for local Kelantan's amulet before the internet @ GORENG GORENG eras hahahahaha ! ) but sadly he refused and asked for my contact number if in case he needed some fast cash and wanna let go. Sadly, he never gave me a tone !

Story happened in year 2000, if i'm not mistaken. Friend of mine ( runs a grocery shop in Kampung Guchil, Kuala Krai ) was cursed by a local M**** man - his bussiness rival. He sought help from late Mor Niam @ Long Niam - late Than Dee's looksit ( Wat Mai Suwan Kiri ) resided just behind Wat Suwankiri. Now late Long Niam son inherited late Long Niam wichah and occationally performs the same Tutung @ Pedarn rituals for those who needs help. As far as i concerned, late Long Niam's son - still using the original version of TUTUNG @ PEDARN BAI BORN ritual that originally taught @ inheritted from late Than Kong to discard the spell not the simplify version my modern Phor Mor and Achan. He went for TUTUNG @ PEDARN to discard the spell. During the first night ( of 3-nite rituals ), friend of mine was in trance @ being possessed by a spirit, he screamed and shouted in eerie female voice - in Kelantanese dialect.
" Cis, menate Tok Pek ni ! Aku nok buat dokleh ! Heeee, geram aku. Aku nok gomo dokleh !"
" Curse on you ( menate ) Chinese (tok pek ) ! I can't curse you ! Arrr, i'm pissed off. I couldn't harm @ hurt ( gomo ) you as ordered !"
After a few minutes, late Long Niam successfully to subdue the anger and over-powered the spirit. FYI, friend of mine used @ wore a ring that made of combination of Purung Buto and Purung Ke'ceng. He was ordered to take off the ring during the Tutung ritual before being possessed by the cursed spirit. Pagar Tubuh drp santet guys !

The local Beras Siam smugglers used this tempurung buta takrut to
avoid Polis Sempadan @ Polis Hutan and now known as PGA - Pasukan
Gerakan Am to combat the smuggling activities. Penghalimunan guys !
This takrut kala mai mi tar is similiar to the traditional red clay roof tile wichah - Wicah Cak Ik by Bangsek's lineage. Than Chan and Than Mit used to create this type of takrut for devotees. The broken roof tile was then been hung at the pendulum ( reversed side of the pendulum )
The usage @ purpose of this Cak-Ik wichah similiar to the Purung Buto. According to late Than Chan. This special yant inscribed and placed on the reversed side of the pendulum. The purpose - to avoid police & local authorities ( gambang tone ). This type of wicha Cak-Ik ( old clay roof tile wicha ) used to be a popular yant among Penangites and can be said that it's the most sought after talisman by devotees in Penang, especially those dealing with underworld activities !

Even after the demised of late Than Chan, some of devotees that familiar with this wichah will seek late Chau Kuan for the Cak Ik @ roof tile kreung lang. If you are real Bangsek Wichah's lineage, you will know this wichah @ yant. I almost forgot bout this great wichah until I bumped into this yant in my wichah manual during 2021 khao phansa - TQ Mr Law & Mr Tony for the great sharing on this wichah !
The 'Purung Buto' Praksobkarn 03...................
This real story happened in year 2012. Friend of mine, invited me for his house-warming in SP. He asked me a favour to get a HOUSE TANGKAI ( local diction for a talisman ). I said to him that, i dont have any specific house tangkai, but i have tempurung buta and Din Sai ( sand for house protection from late Mor Keaw ) if he wanna try. This Din Sai was blessed by late Mor Keaw according to late Than Lek of Wat Ariyakiri methods.
I took 3-cm piece of tempurung buta and 2-spoon (KFC size) of late Mor Keaw Din Sai. Those tempurung buta and din sai were placed inside the red angpow and handed to Mr Saw during his house warming day and asked him to place the red packet above the main door frame but he didn't do that and placed the red packet inside TV cabinet instead !
To cut it short ..........few weeks after that, his house was ransaked by burglars from washroom's window. All his belongings were burgled including electrical appliances ( as friend of mine and his wife worked in Perak and only went back during weekend ). Amazing thing happened when my friend realized that the red packets and money placed inside the TV cabinet were untouched - the drawer contained red packets and banknotes from house warming gifts. Only then he realized that, one of the red packets placed inside the drawer was the one with nyior buta and din sai from Mor Keaw. My friend believed that the nyior buta and din sai saved his (almost 2k) house warming angpow ! Pelilau guys !!!!!

This real story happened in year 2001/02. Arwah Ismail Dara from Machang, Kelantan used to travel to Gerik on every Friday to sell his woodcraft, including his tasbih ( rosary ) and permata ( bead ) made of gemunggal and kemuning hitam. The first time i met him was in at Gerik's night market in 1998 sitting down under a tree. I used to visit him in Pasar Besar Machang to collect my custom made blank kemuning and gemunggal maikru. In 2001/02, he called me and asked me for a favour. He wanna sell his rare collection ( whole Tiger's skin and a pair of old ivory tusk ). He said he needs fast cash and wanna let go. He said that, if i wan, he will bring it to me to SEE FIRST.
A week after that, he came to Gerik and rang me up. He rented a budget hotel and asked me to come over. To cut it short .........
